6 Years Strong: From Rupture to HYROX
September 3

Brain aneurysm survivor Cathy is taking on her third HYROX race in Washington, D.C., this September in honor of Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month and fellow survivors. After a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2020 led to emergency surgery and nearly a month in the hospital, Cathy fought her way through recovery and returned to lifting and running within three months. Today, she continues to challenge herself, proving that a brain aneurysm does not have to define your future—and using her journey to spread awareness and inspire others.
