The heart of our mission

Led by Co-Founders Erin Kreszl and Christine Kondra, the TBF Team—Laura Geib, Alyssa Giacomin, and Lisa Mowers—works every day to turn purpose into progress. Together, they drive our programs, partnerships, and community engagement, ensuring that brain aneurysm prevention, awareness, and support remain at the center of everything we do.

Guiding our vision and strengthening our future

Chaired by Michael Kane and supported by eleven dedicated board members, the TBF Board of Directors provides strategic leadership, governance, and steadfast support. Their commitment helps ensure that The Bee Foundation continues to grow with integrity, impact, and a clear focus on preventing brain aneurysms.

Advancing research through expertise & collaboration

Led by J. Mocco, MD, TBF’s Scientific Advisory Board brings together leading experts from Weill Cornell, Cleveland Clinic, Rush University, USC, Penn, and Thomas Jefferson University. Their guidance strengthens our research strategy and ensures that every investment advances innovative, preventative brain aneurysm science.

Voices that educate, inspire, & mobilize

Our Awareness Ambassadors play a vital role in spreading lifesaving knowledge about brain aneurysms. Through advocacy, education, and community engagement, they help amplify TBF’s mission—ensuring that more people recognize the signs, understand the risks, and join the movement for prevention.

As 2025 comes to a close, The Bee Foundation is grateful for the generosity and commitment of our supporters. The charts below provide a year-to-date overview of contributions received and how those funds are being allocated to advance brain aneurysm prevention. Together, they reflect a strong and diverse base of support and a continued focus on investing in research, awareness, advocacy, and support. With year-end giving still underway, additional contributions will help The Bee Foundation reach its $800,000 2025 fundraising goal and expand lifesaving programs in the year ahead.

This chart compares full-year 2024 contributions with 2025 year-to-date support totaling $771,000 as of December 15, 2025. The Bee Foundation has seen continued growth in giving across individual donors, events, community fundraisers, and corporate and foundation partners. Final 2025 totals will be reported in The Bee Foundation’s annual financial statements.
