The 5th Annual Cornerstone Winter Wine Dinner Recap

On Saturday, March 1st, Cornerstone Bistro hosted its 5th Annual Winter Wine Dinner, bringing together wine lovers, philanthropists, and advocates for an unforgettable evening in support of The Bee Foundation (TBF) for Brain Aneurysm Prevention. This year’s event was truly special, highlighting iconic California winemakers, an exquisite five-course tasting menu, and a shared commitment to raising awareness and funding for brain aneurysm research and patient support.

An Evening of Exceptional Wine & Purpose

Guests were welcomed with a cocktail hour, where they had the opportunity to mingle and connect while enjoying fine selections from some of California’s most renowned wineries. This year’s featured vintners included:

  • Hirsch Vineyards
  • Dunn Vineyards
  • Mount Eden Vineyards
  • Jackson Family Wines
  • Schramsberg Vineyards
  • Chateau Montelena Winery
  • Colgin Cellars

Each winery shared their unique story, offering guests a deep dive into the artistry and passion behind their exceptional wines.

Following the cocktail hour, attendees were seated for a meticulously crafted five-course tasting menu prepared by Cornerstone’s celebrated culinary team. Every dish was thoughtfully paired with hand-selected wines, creating a truly immersive and elevated dining experience.

Supporting The Bee Foundation’s Mission

This year’s event was about more than just great food and wine—it was about making a tangible impact. All proceeds from the evening will directly support The Brain Aneurysm Community of UCLA, providing critical resources for patients, survivors, and caregivers navigating the complexities of diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

Additionally, the event supported three interconnected communities:

  1. The Bee Foundation and its mission to fund life-saving research and raise awareness.
  2. The California Wine Community, which has faced its own set of challenges in recent years.
  3. Brain aneurysm survivors and caregivers, including those affected by the 2025 wildfires in the Greater Los Angeles Area.

Throughout the evening, guests had the opportunity to purchase exclusive library wines, with a portion of proceeds going directly to TBF. Attendees were also invited to join the wine clubs of featured wineries, further supporting the event’s impact.

A Night to Remember – and a Fundraising Success!

Guest Speaker – Neha Pai

It was truly inspiring to hear from our guest of honor, Neha Pai, whose story of resilience reminds us why this cause is so important. After surviving a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2021, Neha defied the odds—emerging from a coma, undergoing intensive rehab, and ultimately earning her bioengineering degree from UCLA. Her journey and dedication to raising awareness shine a light on the many faces of brain aneurysms.

Thank You to Our Sponsors

Looking Ahead

As we reflect on this unforgettable evening, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible community that continues to stand behind The Bee Foundation. We look forward to next year’s Winter Wine Dinner, where we will continue to raise a glass to hope, research, and advocacy.

Until then, let’s keep the momentum going!
