22nd Annual SNIS Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee

This week, The Bee Foundation team is in Nashville, Tennessee, for the 22nd Annual Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery (SNIS) Meeting and Fellows Course!

We’re engaging with leading neurointerventional experts from around the globe to explore groundbreaking research and advancements in stroke and brain aneurysm care.

The conference kicked off with a full day of dynamic research presentations from top universities, institutions, and practitioners across the country. The day concluded with a vibrant opening celebration at the iconic Country Music Hall of Fame, where our team enjoyed an immersive journey through the history of country music.

The following day brought another inspiring round of sessions, including a powerful presentation by TBF Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) member, Dr. Jan-Karl Burkhardt. We also heard from CV Section Chair, Dr. Stavropoula Tjoumakaris, who highlighted major strides in aneurysm treatment and care. A special moment for our team was attending a talk by Dr. Justin Mascitelli, a former TBF Research Grant recipient, showcasing the ongoing impact of our support. The evening wrapped up with Neuro Night Fights, a unique event hosted by Balt, where neurosurgeons debated real-world cases and treatment approaches.

Midweek began on a celebratory note as TBF SAB member Dr. Michael Chen was named Editor-in-Chief of JNIS. Congratulations, Dr. Chen, on this well-deserved recognition! We also celebrated the induction of two more esteemed SAB members—Dr. J Mocco and Dr. Shazam Hussain—as 2025 SNIS Fellows. We are proud to see so many of our trusted advisors acknowledged for their leadership and contributions to the field.

We’re excited for the days ahead and look forward to sharing more insights and updates as the SNIS conference continues!
