The Bee Foundation For Brain Aneurysm Prevention is thrilled to congratulate Dr. Natália Vasconcellos on the selection of her research as a Mini Oral Podium Presentation by the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) Scientific Program Committee.
Dr. Natália Vasconcellos, the recipient of the TBF Rita Skertich Health Equity Research Grant, will present her study titled “External Validation Of The ESAH Score For Predicting Mortality And Functional Outcomes After Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage: A Multicenter Cohort Study.”
Her work focuses on quantifying subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) volume to improve prognostic accuracy, with the aim of developing an accessible scoring system for widespread use, especially for low-resource hospitals. This research is an important step toward advancing health equity in neurological care.
The 2025 Congress of Neurological Surgeons Annual Meeting will be held October 11th-15th in Los Angeles, California.
