Choosing Joy: Thank You Susan Hall

At our Third Annual TBF Ambassador Retreat on April 17th, we had the distinct privilege of welcoming Susan Hall, a speaker, coach and leadership consultant whose work challenges people not just to survive, but to truly thrive.

Susan’s message was both powerful and deeply grounding: happiness is not something we stumble upon, it is something we decide. In a world that often feels fast-paced and unpredictable, she invited us to consider a different way of moving through it, one rooted in intention, resilience, and the quiet strength to keep going, even when things feel uncertain. Her message centers on the idea that even in the face of challenges, we have the ability to shift our perspective, take meaningful steps forward, and grow through what we go through.

Her words resonated far beyond the session itself. She reminded us that growth is not about starting over when life gets hard, but about rising, carrying forward everything we’ve learned and using it to shape what comes next. It’s a perspective that challenges you, steadies you, and ultimately empowers you.

We are sincerely grateful to Susan for the time, insight, and presence she shared with our TBF ambassadors and staff. The impact of her message will continue to echo in the way we show up for ourselves, serve our communities, and support one another.
